I have always been the type of person who took advice much better from someone who I felt could relate to my struggles. I found it hard to take parenting advice from anyone who didn't have kids or home buying advice from someone who lives in their mom's basement. When it comes to lived experience, there isn't much I have not encountered, and came through stronger. Starting off with alcoholic parents, being a teen mom, betrayal and abuse, marriage and then divorce, becoming a widow, weight fluctuations, getting fired, juggling college and kids and work...I mean you name it, I have survived it! The best part is I have learned how to thrive, and I can help you get there too!!
